After spending a delightful weekend on Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate NY, I'm trying to get caught up!

I'm in the final phases of polishing The Green Marble: A Sam Moore paranormal mystery to send to Lida Quillen at Twilight Times Books. I added a few new chapters to the end and am currenlty purging forbidden words. LOL!

Also, I just submitted Mazurka through my agent, Joan West, to Archebooks Publishing. Has anyone experience with them? I've heard good things about them and enjoyed the interview with owner Robert E. Gelinas in the Voice in the Dark ezine last month. They seem like a top notch small press.

I went crazy this weekend with my newly discovered macro mode on my camera, (I know, I should have read the manual when I bought the camera a few years ago, but I'm a GUY!). Thought you might like to see a few of my favorite shots.

Great shots, Aaron. I wish you could take a pcture of me with a macro and have my skin look as flawless as Julian's. These are all great pictures. Too bad you didn't have room for the rest. btw, I forgot to tell you - the cat in your pictures is what my kitty will look like when she grows up.

Love the photos, Aaron. Especially the bubbles. I'm gonna have to get me one of them newfangled contraptions called a camera one of these days.

I haven't heard of that publisher, but I'll check them out (always on the lookout for potential markets myself).

I know what you mean, Val. That baby skin is so perfect and soft - I love smooching their little cheeks. Gordie's is creamy and soft, too, perfect with his red hair!! He has blue eyes, though, not like your green, green eyes!

Did I tell you how much I loved your review of Ghost Hunting for the Sensible Investigator by Romulus Crowe? You have quite a talent there, lady.

Jude - thanks! My agent also just sent it to Permanent Press, which I hadn't heard of. After researching it a little, it appears to be a strong small press with many honors earned. No false hopes, but there always lingers that little whisper of "maybe this time?" LOL.

Sorry I haven't been on your blog lately - been out of town and swamped. I'd love to check out your new entries. I was really getting into the writing topics you broached - excellent work.
